I have not stayed overnight but have gone several times for special events. The elegant home is lovely and includes a grand staircase that's impressive for photographs. It also boasts a gorgeous sweeping view of the sunset across surrounding fields. I look forward to our event there every year.

My wife and I have stayed in many wonderful bed and breakfasts across the country and Linwood Lawn is one of the best. It rivals anything in Charleston and Savannah. The house is beautiful and has been restored to its former glory. Easy drive to Kansas City. Don and Michelle were wonderful and accommodating hosts. Food was delicious. Everything about our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!

The house and lawn were absolutely stunning! Would be a beautiful venue for a wedding, but they will not allow wedding guests to use the bathroom inside of the home. Because we would have had to rent a port-a-potty for our wedding, it was the one thing that steered us away from booking this venue for our wedding. Outdoor bathrooms for events would be a great addition!!

This is an immaculately restored historic antebellum mansion just south of Lexington. The entire place is so gorgeous and peaceful. For our fellow nerds, the owner goes through the fascinating history over breakfast. Don is so hospitable and we only wish we would have discovered it before we got married because it would be incredible for a wedding venue. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend it!
